Crab Island.
Your whole day.
Private pontoon charters to Crab Island in Destin, departing Beach Weekend Marina in Fort Walton Beach. Paddleboards, floating mat, a sound system that hits, coolers on ice — all of it included. You pick the day, we run it your way.
Pick your
kind of day.
Every charter is private — just your group, your captain and the boat. The only real decision is how long you want to be out. Here is exactly what each one looks like.
The Half Day
The efficient version. Straight out to Crab Island, anchor up, deploy the mat and the boards, and get a solid stretch in the water before heading back.
- Crab Island plus one extra stop
- Roughly two hours anchored and swimming
- Morning or afternoon departure
- Best for first-timers and younger kids
The Signature
The one most groups pick, and the one we would book ourselves. Enough time for Crab Island, a quiet sandbar away from the crowds, and a secluded beach stop without ever feeling rushed.
- Two to three stops, your call on the order
- Long anchor time at Crab Island
- Room for lunch out on the water
- Best for groups who want the full experience
The Full Day
Everything, unhurried. Out early while the water is glass, hit every stop worth hitting, and time the run home for golden hour on the Emerald Coast.
- Four or more stops across the day
- Early departure and sunset return
- Best value per hour on the water
- Best for milestone trips and bigger groups
How pricing works
Private pontoon charters start at $175 per person, with up to 10 guests per boat. Rates vary by trip length, date and group size — text or call with your date and headcount and you'll get an exact quote the same day.
Captain's fee is separate. These are bareboat charters, which means the vessel charter and the captain's services are two separate agreements: your captain is hired and paid directly by you, apart from the charter fee. We'll tell you the captain's rate up front so there are no surprises at the dock.
Two boats in the fleet, so groups up to 20 can run both and stay together on the water.
Summer dates go fast. Send your date and group size and we'll confirm the same day.
Book your charterEverything.
Included.
Show up with your people. Everything else is already on the boat — no rentals, no add-ons, no surprise line items at the dock.
Multiple speakers, crystal-clear audio. Connect your phone and own the water — your playlist, your vibe, all day.
Stand-up paddleboards for the group. Explore the shallows, race across the sandbar, or just try to stay upright — harder than it looks.
Giant floating mat deployed in warm Gulf water. Five people, cold drinks, nowhere to be. Usually the best hour of the whole trip.
Roll it out off the side of the boat and the kids won't come back aboard for an hour. The adults are no better.
The party game nobody can explain until they play it. Built for bachelorette parties, birthdays and any group after a legendary day.
Float in the water without getting all the way in. Premium inflatable chairs deploy off the side — best seat in the Gulf.
Full coolers stocked with ice, ready to go. Bring your food and your drinks — we handle the cooling.
USCG-compliant life jackets in every size, first aid kit, and a captain who takes safety seriously without killing the vibe.
All of it comes standard. No upsells, no rental counter, no add-on menu.

want to go?
No fixed itinerary and no tour script. You tell us what sounds good and we make it happen. These are the stops groups ask for most.
Crab Island
The famous sandbar off Destin — waist-deep emerald water, boats rafted up, food vendors floating past. We anchor in, deploy the mat, and join the scene. Exactly as fun as it sounds.
Quiet Sandbars
Shallow water where you can stand in the Gulf and look back at the coast, with none of the Crab Island crowd. Deploy the mat, pop the chairs, spend two hours doing absolutely nothing.
Secluded Beaches
The Emerald Coast has stretches of sand most visitors drive past their entire vacation. We know them. Empty beach, clear water, your whole group, no strangers.
Wildlife Watching
Dolphins, rays and sea turtles all work this stretch of water, and our captains know where sightings are most likely. They're wild animals though — we'll always go look, and we'll never promise you what shows up.
Sunset Cruise
The Emerald Coast at golden hour is hard to describe and harder to photograph. We time the run back to the marina for the best light. Nobody wants the day to end.
All of the Above
Out early, secluded beach mid-morning, Crab Island by noon, quiet sandbar float in the afternoon, sunset cruise home. That's the eight-hour full day, and it's exactly as good as it sounds.
Not sure what to pick? Tell the captain who's coming and he'll build the day around your group.

any occasion.
Bachelorette parties, family reunions, corporate retreats, milestone birthdays, and groups who just needed a genuinely good day. Whoever you are, we've got you.
Bachelorette & Bachelor
Shot paddle. Emerald water. Private boat. Sound system. Crab Island. This is the bachelorette day people actually want, and it books out earliest in the season.
Book the charterFamily Vacations
Shallow, warm water the kids can stand up in, a lily pad they'll refuse to get off, and a captain watching out for everyone. Beats a theme park day, and costs less.
Book the charterBirthday Celebrations
The milestone birthday everyone actually shows up for. Private boat, your music, Crab Island, and the birthday person gets total veto power on where we go.
Book the charterCorporate Outings
The team event people will actually enjoy. Up to 10 colleagues, the Emerald Coast, and a day with no agenda and no breakout sessions. Better for morale than a ropes course.
Book the charterGirls & Guys Trips
The annual friend-group trip that delivers every year. Private boat, so you never share with strangers, and a captain who'll find whatever kind of day your group is after.
Book the charterCouples & Anniversaries
A private sunset cruise, a bottle of wine, and the Emerald Coast to yourselves. Yes, we've hosted proposals. Yes, they've all said yes so far.
Book the charterGroup of up to 20? We run both pontoons together so nobody gets split up.

Crab Island Kraken is the pontoon side of Kraken Reels — same family, same dock, same stretch of water we grew up on.
We started running charters out of Fort Walton Beach because we were already out here every weekend anyway. What began as one boat and a captain's license turned into a two-pontoon operation working Crab Island, the sandbars off Destin, and the quiet beaches in between.
The whole idea is that it's your day, not our tour. Plenty of operators run the same loop on the same schedule regardless of who's aboard. We'd rather ask what you're hoping for — a big Crab Island scene, a calm sandbar for the kids, a sunset run for two — and then go do exactly that.
Everything is included because we got tired of watching families get nickel-and-dimed at the rental counter. Boards, mat, lily pad, chairs, coolers, ice, sound system, safety gear — it's already on the boat. You bring your people, your food and your drinks.
Our captains are local, USCG-credentialed, and out on this water most days of the season. They know which sandbar works at which tide, where the crowd thins out on a busy Saturday, and how to time the run home so you get the good light.

Safety comes standard
USCG-compliant life jackets in every size including infant and child, a stocked first aid kit, and a full safety brief before we leave the dock.
